Diana Giebels

Diana Giebels is specialized in the field of ecosystem-based management. She conducted several projects with focus on the successful implementation of ecosystem-based management for marine and land use systems. At the University of Osnabrück she is responsible for the transdisciplinary research part of the iSeal project. The iSeal project focuses on the implementation of ecosystem-based management in the German Wadden Sea. Through the integration of social and ecological network analysis, the iSeal project develops decision-making tools for holistic understanding of local socio-ecological systems.
